Tuition and Scholarships
Why is our tuition so low?
Simple...we keep our overhead down, pre-record professor's lectures (if possible), use the internet instead of an expensive campus, we don't print out papers (all our information can be seen online), and we keep our staff small. We pass these savings along to our students!
If a student plans to use
savings and/or current income to cover all or part of the educational expenses,
the Kor Interest-Free Monthly Payment Plan offered at the seminary helps by
providing more manageable cash flow and greater budget flexibility. Instead of
lump-sum payments, the Kor Plan allows a student to pay all or part of the
education expenses in manageable monthly installments. By enrolling in the Kor Plan, the student
will receive an invoice and statement each month representing the balance of the full amount
of the student’s contract. Although Student Financial Services can provide
assistance, the student is responsible for determining the contract amount. The Seminary is not responsible for this decision
and will make changes only upon the student’s written request. The minimum
monthly payment allowed is sixty-five dollars ($65.00) for the Diploma in Theological Studies/AA/BCCC. The BA in Theology program is eighty($75.00) per month and the Master's and Doctorate program is ninety-five ($95.00) per month. A student is free to commit to a larger monthly payment to pay off his/her tuition. Kor Plan is a privilege and not
a right and may be suspended by the Seminary for violation of the agreement or
failure to keep GPA standards of 2.5.
*all undergraduate students are required to purchase the LOGOS Bible Study Software.
Diploma In Theological Studies - one year program is $1950.00. Registration fee is $20.00 and due with the application. (ordination is additional)

Students may graduate and continue with their monthly payments. Failure to do so will cause their ordination to be revoked and seminary diploma to be rescinded.
Fellowships:
Graduate Fellowships are awarded through TTS Financial Aid application process. The seminary will issue an official award notification to the students. This letter is known as the "scholarship/fellowship award letter".
The conditions of a scholarship/fellowship award letter is important. this is the official documentation to the recipient as to the legal nature of the financial aid payments and TTS's expectations. (usually teaching) This letter will also be the primary document to be reviewed by the IRS if any questions should arise regarding the legal nature of the financial aid payments, whether the issue should arise through an audit of TTS or through an audit of the student's tax return.
The frequency with which award letters should be issued depends upon the facts of each case. For example, seminary-funded monthly fellowships, the award letter would normally be issued at the beginning of the academic year for that full academic year. For tuition scholarships, the award letter would normally be issued at the beginning of the academic semester for that academic semester.
If the student's financial aid package consists of a scholarship/fellowship then the student will be given an award letter clearly specifying the nature and conditions of expectations by the seminary. This is necessary to clearly distinguish a students two different relationships to TTS, one as a student and one as a graduate instructor.
The award letter should be signed by the Director and/or Department Chair. To ensure that this official documentation is available in TTS's official files for review by auditors years later, a copy of the award letter will be made in duplicate, filed and also put into the online file folder.
If an award is subsequently modified, a new award letter should be issued to the recipient and a copy of that letter should accompany the same filing procedure.
