Called to Preach Conference on September 4-5, 2008 The biennial preaching conference, sponsored by the Center for Preaching at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, exists to promote preaching excellence by modeling biblical preaching and equipping preachers with practical skills for proclaiming the Word of God.
Called to Preach is our upcoming preaching conference that will take place on September 4-5, 2008. Pastors, students, ministry spouses, and others who have accepted the call to preach to this generation will gather together for worship, training, and inspiring preaching.
At this conference, participants will be equipped with new tools and a renewed passion to preach through a fantastic line-up of accomplished preachers and an array of learning opportunities. The schedule includes: four opportunities to worship God together and listen to inspiring sermons, three teaching sessions covering the important topics of Called to Character, Called to Shepherd, and Called to Love Your World, and the chance to attend two workshops which will equip you with new tools for approaching the fundamentals of preaching.
